Genre Power metal
Likes Being the best guitarist.
Dislikes Lou, the devil
Fretboard Unknown

A majestic rocker that appears in the tutorials in Guitar Hero III. His movements exactly follow Axel Steel, but he appears as some Greco-Roman deity: long white hair and beard, a black cloth with a chain strapped on and boots. He is an exclusive unlockable in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. He is also the most expensive character in the game. He plays a Gibson SG forged from gold and light, named The Ultimatar. While the God of Rock does not appear in World Tour, in Marcus Fretshredder's biography it mentions him visioning a white and gold guitar, likely The Ultimatar, and also that he will someday become a rock god.

Biography

Once human, the God of Rock has ascended to the highest level of rocking and plays nightly in a small pub on Mount Olympus. Occasionally, he finds time to guitar battle with mere humans. He is also credited with inventing the lute. -- Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock in-game description

Trivia

After finishing the last tutorial in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, he challenges Lou to a guitar battle for insulting him. Lou insults him again, saying "What's it gonna be this time? "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" on easy?" to which the God of Rock responds "No, I have been practicing. Let's head to the top of Mount Olympus for an expert battle of Dragonforce!

The God of Rock also appears in the intro of Guitar Hero III where a guitarist must battle other guitarists on a mountain filled with amps. He appears at the top of the mountain which is saying that he is the best guitarist, yet he is defeated in a Guitar Battle by the Guitarist.
